Flooring Specification Solution at Construction Expo
18 Sep 2015
- Flowcrete UK is attending Construction Expo 2015.
- Floorzone concept can streamline the flooring specification process.
- Developers can pick from multiple attractive resin floor finishes.
Despite already accounting for over 35% of the UK’s total construction output, the building industry across London and the South East is set for ever more growth in the coming years!
This rapid pace of development means that it is essential to be working with the right suppliers, contractors, building materials and equipment to ensure that projects can be conducted both quickly and to a high standard.
Construction Expo 2015 provides the region’s construction professionals with the perfect opportunity to discover the latest trends, techniques, ideas and innovations to meet the industry’s fast pace and demanding expectations.
Flowcrete UK will be attending the show and demonstrating on stand 7 how its Floorzone concept can streamline the flooring specification process for large-scale commercial developments. This simplified specification solution helps architects, designers and specifiers choose every element of the floor build-up - from the substrate to the finish - in the knowledge that they will create a high-performance, long lasting surface tailored to the site’s demands.
Developers can pick and choose from multiple attractive resin floor finishes and sustainably manufactured screeds with the option of including an efficient underfloor heating system and acoustic insulation layer.
Construction Expo’s visitors will be able to find out about the Isocrete Screed and Isocrete K-Screed ranges, which have been formulated to provide durable, level, long lasting platforms for decorative finishes.
To make the most of the floor area, Isowarm Underfloor Heating and Isocrete Acoustic K Foam can be included within the screed layer to create a floor that provides efficient, controllable heat while also reducing noise transfer around the building.
Architects are spoilt for choice when it comes to resin finishes to complete the floor build up! The options include colourful, rapidly curing Flowfast systems, vibrant commercial epoxy coatings, durable polyurethanes and the highly decorative, seamless resin terrazzo range Mondéco.
Floors in the Mondéco range can be applied in bespoke patterns, allowing for designers to get truly creative with the floor’s aesthetics. Decorative aggregates such as mother of pearl, mirror glass, marble and metallic particles can be incorporated within a Mondéco floor to create a shimmering lustre across its surface.
Flowcrete UK’s resin flooring experts will be on hand at stand 7 of Construction Expo to discuss with architects, developers and designers exactly how to create the optimum floor build up. Architects interested in finding out more and earning CPD points at the same time can sign up to one of Flowcrete UK’s RIBA accredited CPD seminars on resin flooring.
